Mary Field qualified as a Solicitor in 1977 but no longer practices law. In 1989 she trained as a family mediator with the Family Mediators Association. She has undertaken further training as a professional practice supervisor. She was trained in direct consultation with children in 2004. She practices as a mediator and supervisor in Chichester, Worthing and Bognor Regis.
