Having worked in the legal profession for 22 years,
qualifying as a Solicitor in 1991, running the family dept
of her firm and ultimately working as a Consultant, Orla left
private practice in Sept 2008 and now runs a weekly family
Advice Clinic. She first trained as a Mediator in 1997 but
returned to this as an occupation in 2006.
She was trained in direct consultation with children in 2009.
She now mediates from outposts in Worthing, Southwick and Brighton.

All the FMIS mediators are members of the Family Mediators Association and have met its requirements as to competent practice and work to its standards. They are all recognised to conduct publicly funded mediation by the Legal Services Commission
